What does Nextech Aluminium & Hardware make?
Hardware for aluminium and uPVC doors and windows: sliding rollers and bearing carriages, friction stays and arms, touch locks, cylinder and single point locks, handle sets, butt hinges, stainless steel track rail and polyamide locking strip.
Where are you based?
Our works are at Block No. 4, Kahaan Industrial Estate, Kothari Cross Road, Santej, Ahmedabad 382722, Gujarat.
Do you supply outside Gujarat?
Tell us where you need material delivered and the quantities involved, and our team will confirm what we can arrange for your location.
Products
Which sliding roller should I specify for my sash weight?
Our sliding hardware is rated from 80 kg to 150 kg per set. The two wheel roller and two wheel bearing are rated to 80 kg, the four wheel U-groove roller to 120 kg, and the four wheel bearing to 150 kg. Work from the glazed sash weight, not the frame size, and send us the figure if you want it confirmed.
What is the difference between a V-groove and a U-groove roller?
The groove profile has to match the track the sash runs on. A V-groove wheel locates on V-profile track and a U-groove wheel on U-profile track. Running the wrong profile puts the load on the wheel edge instead of the groove and wears both the wheel and the rail.
Which stainless steel grades do you use?
It depends on the product. Sliding roller bodies are SS 430, adjustable bearing and roller bodies are SS 201 or SS 304, and friction stays and arms are SS 304 throughout. Each product page lists the grade for that item.
Do you supply friction stays for uPVC as well as aluminium?
Yes. Our SS 304 friction stays suit outward-opening casement, awning and top-hung sashes in both uPVC and aluminium. Send us the profile you fabricate and we will confirm the fit.
Technical
What track sizes do your sliding rollers fit?
Sliding rollers and bearing carriages are supplied in 15x18 mm, 15x20 mm and 15x24 mm body widths for 15 mm track sections.
What lengths are friction stays available in?
The standard friction stay and the friction arm are available in 10, 12, 14 and 16 inch. The R 50 series friction stay is available in 12, 14 and 16 inch.
Can sashes be levelled after installation?
Yes, on the adjustable products. The two wheel bearing, two wheel roller and four wheel bearing are all height adjustable, so a glazed sash can be levelled on site without lifting the panel out.
Do I need a stainless steel rail with your rollers?
It is worth specifying. Running wheels directly on an aluminium sill lets the running surface groove under repeated sash load, which is what makes a slider feel heavy after a few years. Our 13 mm SS rail gives the wheels a stainless running surface instead.

Do you have minimum order quantities?
Yes, and they differ by product. They range from 100 pairs on friction stays and 100 sets on handle sets up to 5000 metres on locking strip. The MOQ is listed in the specification table on every product page.

How do I get pricing?
